We support a holistic, whole individual approach to recovery. We offer a non-clinical recovery support program through job opportunities, housing, and classes.
Horizons Collective was born from a group of individuals who come from various backgrounds that have all crossed paths with sober living, drug recovery, domestic violence and mental illness. We are a peer-lead organization and we offer leadership roles to those who have successfully navigated their own sobriety journey and want to help others who are just starting their journey.
We offer programs focused on providing stability:
Health – We offer a assistance enrolling in Medicaid and managing medical costs, including financial aid. Our members also enjoy free cooking classes, nutrition classes, meditation classes, yoga/tai chi classes, and gym membership.
Housing – Our sober housing program focuses on personal development, community, positivity and self-reliance. We ensure residents have an adequate space to support their recovery needs, both mentally and physically.
Purpose – Our job opportunity programs offer self-development and self-reliance skills to give a sense of purpose and peace. We offer training and job opportunities in landscaping, bookkeeping, electronics repair, cosmetology and music/video production.
Community – Beyond the community provided in the housing and job training programs, we also provide a sense of community through family and sober activity events. We provide team building opportunities, healthy friendships and a place for families to re-connect and start healing together.
A support collective that will broaden every horizon on the path to sobriety and health.
When someone decides to change their life after addiction, it can be a challenge to shake off any stigma from their past and often they have few or no friends and family left for help. We aim to change that by becoming their friends and helping their families support them in their recovery.
